Baxi Partnership has its own investment fund which it uses to support the growth of strong, sustainable, successful mutual or employee owned organisations in a number of different ways.

We offer financing solutions through a range of creative and tailored instruments, constructed in a way that suits the client’s requirements, and designed to align ownership, financing and business objectives.

We can source finance to support organisations aiming to go through the process of transition into an employee owned enterprise. In the public sector, capital will be needed to resource the leadership team, the change process, bringing in specialist skills, overheads created by the process and potentially to pay government for the value of the organisation being spun out. In the private sector, capital could be required to not only purchase the business but also to provide sufficient working capital to enable the business to function on a day-to-day basis and grow.

Baxi Partnership also offers its expertise in raising capital to support other organisations who are looking to raise external capital through other routes, including social investment capital for providers of public services.

Through our co-investment relationships with compatible investors, we are able to leverage funds into the mutual and employee owned sector and can access Venture Funds managed or advised on behalf of others. Baxi Partnership is also in the process of working with partners to jointly set up larger-scale investment fund targeted at making value-driven investments.

Finally, we also have strategic partnerships with other investors who co-invest alongside Baxi Partnership where we are the lead investor.
